We offer a limited number of Icelandic horses for sale each year, with most of our horses still in training and coming up for sale rather than fully finished. Our focus is on thoughtful, long-term matches between horse and rider.

If you’re interested in purchasing a Megalong Icelandic Horse, we always invite potential buyers to come and meet us and our herd first. This gives you the chance to experience our horses, our training approach, and the environment they are raised in.

As part of the process, we ask visitors to have a ride on one of our trusted school horses. This helps us gain a good understanding of your riding experience and goals, so we can best match you with a young horse that suits you now and into the future.

Once the right match is identified, it’s possible to place a deposit on a young horse while they are still finishing their training. As the new owner, you’ll be involved in their development through lessons and guidance, ensuring a smooth transition and a strong partnership as your horse progresses.

For those interested from a breeding perspective, we also have a small number of promising young fillies available, bred from carefully selected imported mares with interesting bloodlines. Please get in touch with us for more information.
